Smoky Mountain Elite HS & U15 Fall '12 Travel Program registration now open!

The Knoxville based Smoky Mountain Elite travel program is gearing up for the fall tournament season and is now taking registrations for the Elite HS and U15 travel programs. The U15 travel program is for players born on or after September 1^st, 1996. We will be looking for a maximum of 22 players per team to insure quality-playing time for all participants. Teams will be comprised of 2 goalies, 3 long stick midfielders, 5 close defenseman, and 12 attack / midfield players. Tournament Schedule:

October 27^th & 28^th: Charlotte Fall Lacrosse Classic - Elon Park in S. Charlotte, NC. 5-game schedule (3 Saturday & 2 Sunday with championship being a 6^th additional game)

November 17^th & 18^th: Turkey Shootout - Briscoe Park in Snellville, GA. 5-game schedule (3 Saturday & 2 Sunday with championship being a 6^th additional game)

Registration Fees:

Fees cover tournament entry fees, travel costs (charter bus rental), 3 to a room hotel accommodations at business class hotels, coach stipends (we do not allow volunteer coaches), a team meal on Saturday evening paid by program, field rental for 6 practices leading up to tournaments, and miscellaneous items (balls, field paint, etc.)

Returning Smoky Mountain Elite Player with all equipment:                      $800.00  (after Sept 3 - $850.00)

New Smoky Mountain Elite Player - includes team Nike Dri Fit uniform        $875.00  (after Sept 3 - $925.00)

Custom Smoky Mountain Elite Cascade Pro 7 helmet w/ decals               $175.00

Coaching Staff:

Matt Synowiez – Program Director and Head Coach of HS Program:  SMLC Director and University of Tennessee lacrosse head coach. Played NCAA Div III lacrosse at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. Grew up in Easton, Maryland.

Colin Smith – Assistant Coach of HS Program: Head Coach of NCAA Division III Fontbonne University (St. Louis, MO). Played NCAA Div III lacrosse at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. Grew up in Garden City, NY.

Kevin O’Neill - Head Coach of U15 Program: Rising Senior in University of Tennessee lacrosse program and assistant coach at West Knox HS program.  Grew up in Chantilly, VA.

Brandon Singleton - Assistant Coach of U15 Program: Assistant Coach of NCAA Division III Fontbonne University (St. Louis, MO). Played MCLA lacrosse at Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN. Grew up on Long Island, NY.
