BELLOMY FIELD MAKEOVER

Finally in 2011, Santa Clara University enters the 21st century with the resurfacing of the often muddy and heavily used Bellomy Field with artificial turf with a new age biodegradeable infill.  Gone are the days of cancelled practices and rescheduled games due to field closures due to the weather.  Numerous club sport and intramural atheletes and their ankles can breath easier now that the field has been leveled and there should never be a problem with potholes again.

Here are some photos of the resurfacing project (as of Sat. 10/1/11).  Unfortunately due to delays in getting the in-fill material from Italy, the lacrosse team will have to move the alumni game scheduled for Saturday, October 8 at 12:00 pm to the nereby Bellarmine College Prep Lacrosse field.
