2016 Alumni Banquet & Hall of Fame Ceremony

Details:Dear Santa Clara Lacrosse Alumni, Family and Friends,

We would like to formally invite you to the First Annual Santa Clara Lacrosse Banquet. The banquet will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Fiorillo's Restaurant. We welcome all alumni, parents, friends, and families to the event as we join to celebrate the recent and future success of the Santa Clara University Men’s Lacrosse Program. We are ESPECIALLY excited to announce that this years Banquet will include the return of the SCU Lacrosse Hall of Fame Tradition. This years inductees will include:

GARY PODESTA-Gary served as Coach for 25 years during the span of 1983 to 2012,. His... undeniable influence and contribution to this program, as well as to lacrosse in general on the West Coast, can not be measured. Its an honor to see him inducted.

SCOTT HYLEN '95-Scott was a Defenseman, who started all 4 years, including '92-94 when SCU appeared in the West Coast Final 4 three years in a row. Scott was born in San Francisco, attended St. Ignatius, and currently lives in Sweden, while helping lacrosse flourish around Europe.

A fantastic dinner will be served, and we will hold a raffle with some nice prizes. Proceeds from this dinner serve to help SCU lacrosse's fundraising goals for the 2016/17 season. We hope to see you there!!
