SBCC Drops One to a Tough UNLV Squad

Santa Barbara, CA - UNLV started fast and never looked back in a non-league game with the Vaqueros on the turf at UCSB. The Runnin' Rebels led 8-1 at halftime. The Vaqueros played UNLV tougher in the second half  with a 4-6 result but could not close the gap enough to turn it into a game. The final score was 14-5 in favor of the Rebels.

The loss dropped the Vaqueros to 3-3 overall on the season. UNLV improved to 5-1 with the win. SBCC plays next at Cal Poly SLO 'B' on March 13th in a 11am game. The Rebels play next against in-state rival Nevada, Reno on March 14th.
