Santa Barbara Showdown Economic Impact Santa Barbara Showdown organizers have finished an event economic impact study. The results show the Santa Barbara Showdown will pump almost $715,000 into the local economy over three days each year. Future Dates
The Santa Barbara Showdown will bring more than 5,000 lacrosse players, families and spectators to the area. They will stay and play in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara and Ventura. Gatorade, Harrow Lacrosse, Hilton, Marriott, Martinelli's, Pepsi, STX Lacrosse and Stringking Lacrosse are all event sponsors. The Showdown started in 2014 growing out of the Santa Barbara Fall Brawl, a long time annual event. The Fall Brawl continues as a college team only event at UCSB in November. Now, with additional space, up to 96 teams will compete in the championship format Showdown at the world renowned Santa Barbara Polo Club on one of the finest Bermuda grass surfaces in the western United States.
