Tough Middle Quarters Again for Varsity at WBL

The first period wasn't too bad, with Roseville rallying to within 2 after being down 0-4.  

But then there were rough quarters in the middle for the Boys in Black, as they got no shots on goal in the 2nd, and only 2 power play shots on goal, both saved, in the first minute of the 3rd, and nothing more.  Meanwhile, WBL racked up 11 goals total in the second and third quarters.  

Each team added 1 goal in the 4th quarter for a final of 3-16.  

Big differences were possessions off faceoffs, where WBL held a huge advantage, and the ability to clear and transition from defense to offense.  The extra offensive posessions from these two areas of the game were a big factor in the shots on goal being an unofficial 9 to 21 in favor of White Bear Lake.
