Pitt Takes on Georgia Tech

The Panthers had a tough loss today against Georgia Tech with a final score of 4-5. The first quarter was scoreless for both teams, but goalie #22 Drew Miller was unbeatable with five saves. Georgia Tech scored three goals during the second quarter and Pitt responded with a goal by #2 Bryan Peck, assisted by #0 Alex Powell. During the third quarter, Georgia Tech scored another goal and #10 Chris Wetzel put one in the net to bring the score to 2-4, Georgia Tech. The Panthers tied up the game during the fourth quarter with goals by #2 Bryan Peck and #14 Tyler Novotny. Georgia Tech managed to make one more goal, ending the game with 4-5 Pitt loss.

Regardless of today’s loss, the Panthers still came out with 2 wins this weekend against Clemson and Auburn, bringing their record to 5-1. Hail to Pitt!
