OU Visit to the Norman Veteran's Center
Sep. 19, 2012 A huge thank you to the Norman Veteran's Center for hosting the squad yesterday and letting us meet some of the finest citizens the United States has to offer!
Last night the OU Men's Lacrosse Team visited the Norman's Veteran's Center to spend some time with some of our nation's heroes as they participated in the center's monthly "Bingo" night. It was incredible to watch the veterans' faces light up as they got a chance to interact with our group of OU student-athletes, who in-turn were respectful, engaging, and excellent representatives of the Sooner Lacrosse family and our University as a whole.
Events like this one are just part of our committed on-going effort to not only raise awareness of the sport here in Oklahoma but to also give back to the community that supports us and our university.
