OU v Texas Tech Fall Game

A rematch of last year’s exciting Halloween Shootout game between OU and TECH will be played on November 7, 2009. The game will be played at Clark athletic fields just south of John Clark Stadium in Plano at 7:00pm. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students/children. Both teams are members of the Lone Star Alliance (LSA) which is composed of twenty college lacrosse teams from Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. The Lone Star Alliance is one of ten conferences nationally that play under the governance of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA).
Both teams have strong ties to North Texas high school lacrosse programs with many local alumni playing for both teams. The game was arranged by 2006 Plano Senior High graduates Matt Moran of the Sooner’s and the Red Raider’s Matt Davis, both Presidents and team captains of their respective programs. Texas Tech, coached by Andrew Widmer has a strong winning tradition going back to the 1983 season. Oklahoma, coached by Max Dugan completed their forth season of competition last spring. . Other local schools represented on the team rosters include Plano West, Coppell, St Marks, Highland Park, Southlake, Allen, Hillcrest, McKinney and Jesuit.
The Clark Athletic Complex is located at 429 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023. Take the Spring Creek exit from 75 Central Expressway, go west to Stadium Drive, go north on Stadium Drive and the fields will be on the left.
