Bulldogs open season with a win

On a field on par with a swamp, the Bulldogs defeated Rhodes College (NCAA D3) 11-10 in overtime this weekend. The Dogs were led by freshman attackman Ben Bradley, who scored five goals, and senior goalie Nathan McBride, who allowed just ten goals on thirty-nine shots. A great team effort, the coaches said they liked the way the Dogs played despite the weather and field conditions. This Saturday, the Bulldogs will travel to MTSU for the first conference game of the season.
