Also, a quick note: If Lincoln played in the Florida South Division they would be ranked 4/24 and if they played in the Florida Club Division they would of been ranked 11/58!

Congrats to both Varsity and JV for beating Leon@ Leon. This win was huge and both were comeback wins. JV started down 3-1 and was headed into the fourth down 5-4 with a 3min penalty but won 7-6. Varsity scored the first goal of the game but was then down for the entire rest of the game untill early in the 4rth when a goal tied the game at 5-5. They were then down 6-5 but 3 goals in a row by lincoln ended the Leon run and gave us the win. The game winning goal(7) as from Attack Greg Sheppard and the winning add-on goal(8th) was from Alex Behm to put us comfortably in front with 4min remaining. Congrats Lincoln on these huge wins. The JV now stands at 3-1 and the varsity at 4-6. Lets build on this heading into chiles and get a win there also!

Due to Maclay using an illegal player during the March 6th game, Maclay has been forced to forfeit that game. Therefore still making us the only team to beat Maclay in this district on a technicality and win in an actual game! This now changes our record from 2-6 to 3-5 and the score of the game will be scored as 1-0 with the credit of the goal going to Robby Wheeler and an assist going to Chris Fahey(Well im not sure yet about that stuff but we'll figure it out later.) Its not the way I would of liked to beat Maclay but a wins a win and we got one against them. Hopefully we can take it for real this Thursday against them as well.

Great effort everybody on these last weekend games against chiles and maclay. With the closest score differential against each teams in two years losing a nail-biter to chiles 5-4, and a tough fought game against maclay with a score of 13-5. After being down 7-1 at the end of the first quarter Lincoln matched up with Maclay very well for the rest of the game only being out scored 6-4 after the first. Although our record doesn't exactly show it right now these guys are playing hard and giving 100% and have had drastic improvement from last year when in our first games against chiles and maclay we lost 16-0 against chiles and 17-2 against maclay. A 23 goal differential in our favor from last year to this year! We cant wait untill we play these teams again later on in the season. Go lincoln Lax!

After 4 games so far this season Lincoln isn't doing so bad. With a dramatic improvement from last season the team currently stands at 2-2, already 2 more wins than last year. Here is a look at some differences from where we were last year at this point, and where we are now:

We will be selling the shorts recieved from Lacrossewear at $25 a short. That is a great deal considering these are about $35 shorts. With the money collected from selling the shorts we will then get a new set of shorts in that will be gold with the green stripe and still have the stiched logo but will just be made with more affordable material, similar to basketball mesh shorts. These are great shorts the only problem was the color scheme and they have that nice lincoln logo in gold stiched on them so definatly make an effort to try and purchase one. GOOD LUCK THIS WEEKEND LINCOLN LAX!

The new jerseys have arrived for this season. There is an issue with the shorts thought. The tops are perfect. We are going to try an resolve this issue the best we can but due to lacrosse's limited funding there is not much we can do. The jerseys though, tops and bottoms, still look great so were them with pride this Friday against Leon. Have a nice day everybody and GO LINCOLN LAX!
