The first youth boys and girls lacrosse tournament to be held in Orange County is happening on July 9 - 11. We are currently looking for volunteers to help throughout the weekend. No lacrosse experience/knowledge necessary, just a desire to help build the lacrosse community in Orange County and Southern California. The tournament benefits HEADstrong Foundation.

On Saturday June 5, 2010 Nike held an Elite Camp at Chapman University in Orange. This camp was by invitation only. Below in this picture are many former La Paz Storm players only 1 or 2 years removed from playing with the Storm.

Former Storm players in this picture are; Alex Salera, Danny Williams, Jacob Ostheimer, Eric Bermudez, Taylor Smith, Crosley Smith, Jake Douglas, Austin Johnson, Connor Lawande, and Chase Warner. It is great to see these former Storm players playing at such a high level as freshman and sophomores.

Here is another summer camp option for middle school boys (entering 7th & 8th grade). The camp is directed by Brendan Finnerty, Aliso Niguel JV Coach and former Fairfield University lacrosse team captain.

Congratulations to Storm's Junior Girls, who repeated as Champions at the Surf City Tournament in Huntington Beach on Saturday, 8 May!

We will begin registration for the 2010 - 2011 Winter Boys and Girls lacrosse season in September. All returning players will register starting September 1 - September 30. New Storm players can begin to register starting Oct 1. If you played with us during the Winter or Spring season you are a returning player. Registration will be available on line only! We are trying to reduce the boys costs to play this season by not purchasing new uniforms.  The boys team will wear the same uniform as last season so if you do not need a new uniform you will receive a substantial discount to play. If your son has outgrown his uniform or you are new to the program we will order a uniform for him.

On Sunday, April 11, the Storm Senior Girls team played a team from St. Catherine's School in England. After play to 10-10 tie, both teams got together for a picture.
