Wolves Score 10 Unanswered Goals To Beat St. Charles 13-4

Worthington Kilbourne at St. Charles -- May 8, 2018

After a tight first half and with the teams only separated by one goal, the Wolves went on a 10-0 scoring blitz in the second half to defeat St. Charles decisively Tuesday night on the road 13-4. The score was just 3-2 at half with the Wolves in the lead. The Wolves started the third quarter on a man-up opportunity and cashed it in with a goal that got the offense started and then never looked back. The defense pitched a shutout in the second half until very late in the contest. The win caps Kilbourne’s regular season record at 12-4. Next up is post season play for the Wolves in both MSLCA Tournament this weekend and the OHSAA State Tournament the following week. The Wolves will host an OHSAA tournament game on Tuesday May 15^th with game time and opponent TBD.  Come out to support the Wolves and their quest in the State Tournament!
