Wolves Win 4-3 Thriller Over Jerome; Claim At Least Share of OCC Cardinal Division Title

Wolves win 4-3 over Dublin Jerome on April 26, 2018

The Wolves won 4-3 over the visiting Celtics of Dublin Jerome in a “Senior Night” thriller. Jerome entered the game 10-2 overall and 4-0 in OCC Cardinal division play. The game was a tight, low scoring, affair which was never separated by more than 2 goals. The score was deadlocked 1-1 at the half and 3-3 at the start of the 4th quarter. After the Wolves moved ahead 4-3 in the 4th quarter, the Celtics had a late man-up opportunity. With just more than a minute left in the game, Wolves goalie Dane Jackson made a point blank save during the penalty that helped seal the victory for the Wolves. The win moves the Wolves to 9-3 overall and ensures the Wolves at least a share of the OCC Cardinal Division crown with a record of 5-0 record in the division. The Wolves have a chance to win the OCC Cardinal division outright next Tuesday on the road at Thomas Worthington. Seniors honored tonight: Max Anderson #40, Alec Bickell #23, Sam Biglin #8, Nick Clay #33, Mikey Gandert #16, Marino Gasbarro #1, Ryan Hester #9, Cortez Ratliff #44, Maverick Stephen #4, Joe Wasik #12, Ryan Wesolowski #32.
