Purdue RecapNov. 3, 2008 After the loss to Louisville, the Cats had 20 minutes to rest before strapping back up and playing the Boilermakers. The team was exhausted from the Louisville game, but that didn't hold them back. After scoring early, the Cats played very conservative and controlled the tempo of the game. Purdue was a very talented team and Kentucky was well matched. The game went into double overtime and with the help of outstanding defense, freshman Paul Fischer scored the game winning goal. This was a huge win for the Cats, since this was the first MCLA team they faced in the 08-09 season. The Cats also showed unbelieveable determination, playing so hard after an exhausting game with Louisville. The scoring stats are below: Eric Hawkins 4 goals, 3 assists Nate Bussard 2 goals Dwight Hammons 1 goal, 1 assist Paul Fischer 1 goal, 1 assist Jon Garman 1 goal Shaun Cooper 1 goal Sean Medley 2 assists Jason Lardiere 1 assist Luke Cody 1 assist
