Warriors Tie Leesville Road 9-9 in First Scrimmage ActionFeb. 23, 2013 Warrior Games Cut Short due to Weather In the 4th Annual Warrior Games, the pre-season scrimmage held each year by JF Webb High School, Webb faced off against Leesville Road in their only game of the day due to weather. The Black and Red tied the Pride 9-9 after an hour of scrimmage action, while the JV team saw time against Cary High School. This is the second year in a row Webb has faced Leesville Road in a scrimmage; last year the Pride shut the Warriors out. The Warriors fell down 6-3 at halftime but were able to outscore the Pride by the same margin the Pride held in the first half. The (unofficial) stats from the game have senior attacker Antonio Jones leading the way with four goals, while classmate LSM Rufus Terry scored once while adding three assists. Senior midfielder Jacob Ragland had two goals and two assists, with junior attacker Brock Fuller adding a goal and senior midfielder Teddy Anderson handing out an assist. The Warriors face off in their first game of the year Wednesday night, February 27th against the Panthers of Orange High School. Game time is set for 5 pm for the JV team and 7 pm for the Varsity.
