2013 Season Schedule Announced

10 Home Games for Webb, No Beach Trip due to Lack of Numbers

The Black and Red's 2013 schedule has Webb playing in the friendly confines of Warrior Field a program best 10 times, while playing 17 games overall.

The Warriors start the season with a five game home stand, hosting Orange High School on Wednesday, February 27th.  They then host Northwood High School under the Friday night lights on the 1st of March.  Monday the 4th and Thursday the 7th see the Warriors host first year team Southern Alamance and third year program Eastern Alamance High School.  The five game home slate ends with Cary Christian School coming to Oxford on Tuesday the 12th.

Webb begins conference play Friday, March 15th, when they travel to southern Durham to face Jordan High School.  The Warriors then host back to back conference opponents as Riverside High School comes to Webb the following Friday, March 22nd, and then with Roxboro Community School on March 26th. 

Webb then travels to Northern Durham High School on the 28th, rounding out the first round of Conference 4 games.  That is also the last game before spring break, which Webb will not be using to travel to the beach due to a lack of numbers of players able to commit early.

Wednesday, April 10th the Warriors travel to Southern Alamance High School for their first game back from break.  Friday the 12th the Warriors play host to Jordan High School before a three game road trip to Riverside on the 16th, Eastern Alamance on the 17th, and Roxboro Community on Friday, April 19th.

For the last week of the season, Webb will wrap up Conference 4 play at home against Northern Durham High School on the 23rd, before hitting the road 24 hours later to face Cary Christian on the 24th.  Senior night this year falls on Friday, April 26th, against Cedar Ridge High School.

Notes: The Warriors went 6-9 against opponents from their current schedule in 2012, while getting two wins against Northwood, Northern Durham, and Roxboro Community...Southern Alamance and Webb will play for the first time ever this year...Webb loses Kerr Vance Academy and Walter M. (Burlington) Williams High School from last year's schedule...Webb's game at Eastern Alamance will serve as an endowment game.
