Warrior Games Cancelled; Warriors to scrimmage Cary, Cary Academy

GAME TIMES SET FOR 9 AM, 10 AM AT CARY ACADEMY

After four years of being held, the Warrior Games will not be played this year due to scheduling conflicts with participating teams.  The Warriors will now travel to Cary Academy on February 22nd to face the Cary Academy Chargers and the Cary High School Imps in two scrimmages.  Scrimmage times are as follows:

9 AM, vs. Cary Academy

10:20 AM, vs. Cary High School

The Warriors have never faced either school in regular season or pre-season competition.  Cary HS plays out of Conference 3 along with Apex, Athens Drive, Fuquay-Varina, Green Hope, Holly Springs, Middle Creek, Panther Creek, and Pinecrest.  Pinecrest and Fuquay-Varina are entering their first years of competition, while Apex is the defending NCHSAA Public School State Champion.

Cary Academy is a private school and plays against state powers such as Ravenscroft and Durham Academy.
