2011 Goalie - Simonetti commits to Queens

Nick Simonetti, a Senior at Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin, Ohio, has made a verbal commitment to Queens University of Charlotte on November 30, 2010.  Queens competes in NCAA division 2 and is in the Carolinas Conference.  Nick will join Jim Fritz' Royals in the fall of 2011.

Simonetti considered multiple options to play at the next level before deciding on Queens.  He shared time with 2010 grad Matt Horn last season for the Celtics and played for the Titanium Lacrosse club team over the summer of 2010.  Simonetti also had a great showing at the Top 205 West camp, gaining the attention of many college coaches. 

Dublin Jerome completed it's 6th season in school history in 2010 by winning the D2 State Championship for the second time and Simonetti is the 24th DJ player to commit to play college lacrosse.

Simonetti also participates on the Dublin Jerome hockey team.  His brother, Steven, is a defenseman for Denver's lacrosse program.
