DJ Lax Awarded "Sportsmanship Award" in Arizona
When scheduling our games for the spring trip to Arizona I received the following message from Dave Henning, head coach at Chandler High School:
Also, I should mention that every year our team gives a "Sportsmanship Award" to one of the teams we played. Normally, it is a local team and our kids present them an award at their banquet. Last year, they voted for you guys. They were supposed to get you guys the plaque and film a little presentation, but that did not happen and I did not follow up. Nonetheless, I think it says a lot that you guys impressed them enough in one day to win that vote and it was a pretty wide margin.
