Despite outshooting the Bears 39 to 24 and forcing Jud Hall to make 14 saves, the Celtics fell short in a 7-6 loss. A solid performance was turned in by Matt Horn with 10 saves while Marshall Burkhart (2g) and Alex VanKrevel (1g, 3a) lead the way for the Celtics offense. Tanner Seago did an excellent job limiting Ohio State bound Scott Lathrop at the midfield while Tyler Mordecai, Steven Simonetti, and Peter Coratola played solid defense all evening, earning gold squad for the 4 poles.
