AJ Level came up with an amazing 20 saves, including six 1-on-1 saves, for the Irish as they prevailed over the Celtics 11-9. The Celtics outshot the Irish 44 to 21 and captured 7 more ground balls but it was not enough. A see-saw battle was broken wide open by the Irish in the third quarter as they rattled off six unanswered goals to close out the third period. The fourth quarter belonged to the Celtics as they had 5 goals on 16 shots and forced Level to make 8 saves. Despite many opportunities in the last two minutes of the game the Celtics could not even the score and force overtime.

Scott Ruhl lead the Celts with three goals, followed by Michael Stergiou and Rudy Youell who each contributed two goals.  Alex VanKrevel finished the night with a goal and two assists.  Matt Horn finished with 7 saves.

The Celtics face rival Upper Arlington Saturday night at 7:30 at Jerome Stadium.
