Horn saves Celts
Matt Horn registered 15 saves as the Celtics escaped a hard-nosed Indian Hill squad 11-9. After a slow first quarter where the Celts were down 3-0 the offense kicked it into gear to lead 5-4 at the half. The see-saw battle turned in Jerome's favor with 4-0 run in the fourth quarter to push the lead to 11-7 before letting up two late goals. Alex VanKrevel (3g, 1a) and Marshall Burkhart (3g) lead the team in scoring against one of the best goalies the Celtics have faced all season, Steven Krall (15 saves). The Celtics square off at home against rival Dublin Scioto on Wednesday in defense of the Emerald Cup. Face off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
