Prep: A two year letter winner at Del Val HS ... Accumulating 26 points his senior season to help Del Val reach the state tournament for the second year in a row ... Also played football as a starting defensive back for the 2009 team ... Despite breaking his hand missing almost half of the season, Max played with a cast and finished the season to reach the state playoffs and was selected to the All-conference team as a free safety ... Max was honored by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame as a scholarship winner at the annual banquet honoring select student athletes in New Jersey ... Max was also selected as the Dan Hutchins Memorial Scholarship Award at Del Val for student-leader-athletes and was also honored as student-leader of the month by the Exchange Club of Flemington, New Jersey ... Max continues to give a hand to both the lacrosse and football teams at Del Val following his time at the George Washington University.
