2012: As a multi-role player, playing both offensive and deffensive midfielder ... key man coming of the face-off wing ... played pivotal role in the conference championship picking up the groundball on the faceoff in the closing minutes of the game ... saw increased time in the offensive position towards the end of the season Prep: A two year letter winner at Del Val HS ... Accumulating 26 points his senior season to help Del Val reach the state tournament for the second year in a row ... Also played football as a starting defensive back for the 2009 team ... Despite breaking his hand missing almost half of the season, Max played with a cast and finished the season to reach the state playoffs and was selected to the All-conference team as a free safety ... Max was honored by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame as a scholarship winner at the annual banquet honoring select student athletes in New Jersey ... Max was also selected as the Dan Hutchins Memorial Scholarship Award at Del Val for student-leader-athletes and was also honored as student-leader of the month by the Exchange Club of Flemington, New Jersey ... Max continues to give a hand to both the lacrosse and football teams at Del Val following his time at the George Washington University. Personal: The youngest of four boys and the son of Jo Ann and Robert Kollmer ... Max is the first in his family to attend college ... Pursues a career in medicine ... Max is currently studying Biology and hopes to find his way into sports medicine and orthopedics.
