The home game this weekend against Flagler has been cancelled.  Next game is at Embry-Riddle on April 4th.

Your FGCU Eagles took on the FIU Panthers Saturday, February 13th.  After a close lose to Palm Beach Atlantic of 11-9.  Going into the game against the Panthers the Eagles were psyched and ready to go.  After one period of play the score was tied 4-4 but the tempo would soon change.  When the game was over the Eagles soared to a 21-7 win.  The eagles are off for the next two weeks, their next game will be March 6th at the University of Miami.

Trying to make a bid for the MCLA, this year will be a probationary year for the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.  Pending on this seasons outcome the Eagles will be holding a spot in the MCLA II.  This season the Eagles will be playing six games with a couple more being talked out.  Of the six games two will be at home on the Recreation Fields.  While others will be played as far out as Flagler.  Even though the team is new and the squad could be bigger these boys are ready to play.  Leading the midfield is the Junior and President Tim Thornton while the head of the Attack is Freshman Gavin Donohue.  On the other side of the midfield line the defesnse is headed by Sophomore Travis Rademaker, with the last line of defense is Freshman goalie Michael Gabriele.  This season is looking like a promising season for the Eagles who are opening their season Saturday February 6th, 2010 against the Palm Beach Atlantic University Sailfish.
