Emory Triumphs In First Game At HomeMar. 9, 2013 Atlanta-GA – On Wednesday March 6, the Emory Eagles faced off against out-of-conference opponent Aquinas College. During the second quarter the Eagles executed their offense, scoring 3 unanswered goals to take a 4-1 lead that they held for the remainder of the game. Grad student attackman Ryan Douglas had an outstanding game, scoring four goals for the Eagles. Additionally, freshman midfielder Eli Goodman and senior attackman JW Cornwell had two goals each. The Eagles ended up winning 10-7 over the Saints, recording their first home game win of the season. In the next upcoming match, Emory Men’s Lacrosse will face off against divisional opponent Tennessee Wesleyan College on March 23 at 3:00 PM at Candler Field, Atlanta, GA.
