Franklin Springs, GA – On Friday February 15, Emory Men’s Lacrosse faced off against conference opponent Palm Beach Atlantic, a top 20 team in MCLA DII. In the first quarter, the Eagles and Sailfish were tied at 1-1. The game see-sawed as both squads were scoring and allowing goals, with the Eagles trailing by only 3 after the third quarter. However, the Sailfish surged in the fourth quarter, scoring 4 goals to 1 by the Eagles, eventually winning the match 15-9. The Eagles showed promise in the development of their offense and better communication on defense. Senior Captain Ed Kovel went on a scoring frenzy, netting 7 goals for the Eagles and tallying 1 assist.
