Emory Records First Win Of The Season

Franklin Springs, GA – On Saturday February 16, Emory Men’s Lacrosse traveled to play divisional opponent Emmanuel College. In the beginning of the match, the Eagles started out slowly, and trailed 5-3 in the second quarter. However, the Eagles found their composure and started getting their offense going. After rendering the Emmanuel Lions scoreless during the entire third quarter, the Eagles led 6-5. With a final score of 10-8, the Eagles recorded their first win of the season. Once again, Senior Captain Ed Kovel commanded on offense scoring 3 goals for the Eagles. In addition, midfielder Mike Embersit, and attackmen James Vo and Ryan Douglas scored 2 goals each for the Eagles.
