Emory Earns #6 Seed in National TournamentMay. 5, 2009 After going 9-1, with their only loss coming against #1-ranked Dayton by 1 goal, the Emory Eagles earned the #6 seed in the 2009 MCLA National Championships. The Eagles are currently ranked #4 nationally in all three of the MCLA Division 2 polls -- Collegelax, LaxPower, and the MCLA Magazine. The Eagles will now face no. 11-seeded California State-Fullerton at 1:00 PM MST at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colorado. The Cal State Titans earned their first birth in the MCLA National Championships by winning the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference with a win over Long Beach State in the finals of their conference tournament.
