Top Ten Cracked; Eagles Move Up to No. 8

This morning, Shamrock Lacrosse and CollegeLAX.us released the second MCLA-B Top 25 Poll of the season. Fresh off a 16-5 victory over Eckerd College, the 7-0 Eagles moved up from being ranked 17th in the nation to 8th.

Other SELC teams making an appearance in the polls include Eckerd, Elon, SCAD, and Appalachian State. Eckerd, who was ranked 8th last week, are now the No. 14 team in the nation with there 4-1 record. Elon (0-2) dropped from 10 to 19 while SCAD (2-3) moved up in the polls from 24th to 21st. The 1-1 Mountaineers of ASU manged to drop two down from last poll's 23, holding on the the last slot in the top 25.

The University of Montana (1-1) was dethroned from being No.1 by the 2-0 Tommies of the University of St. Thomas (MN).
