CHATTANOOGA, TN Despite coming off of a hard fought battle with the Citadel on Saturday, The Eagles would have to make a quick recovery as they headed up to Chattanooga for an afternoon showdown with UTC. The meeting is the first between the two teams since Emory's fall opener this past September where the Eagles came out on top 21-3. Well, today wouldn't be much easier for the Mocs as Emory once again ran away by a solid margin, winning 18-3.

David Morrison (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich), Tyler Sant (St. Louis, MO/Chaminade), and Jarrett Levy (Boca Raton, FL/St. Andrews) all had solid breakout performances on the offensive end of the field. Morrison tallied nine points on the day including five goals and four assists. Sant came away with two and two while Levy scored his first goal of the season today along with two others for a hat-trick. Levy also had an assist on the afternoon brining his point total on the day to four.

Continuing his scoring tear, Robert Nugent (River Forest, IL/St. Ignatius) notched a hat-trick of his own, bringing his three game total to 15. Alex Leung (Shorts Hills, NJ/Millburn) tallied two goals and an assist, while Ryan Covert (St. Louis, MO/Chaminade) picked up his first point on the season with a goal scored while playing short-stick midfield on a man-up situation.

David Franklin (Jericho, NY/Jericho - Drew) continues to develop his role as a play maker on the field, dishing out three helpers in the game. Coming off of of major leg surgery, Franklin has amassed an impressive seven points in three games so far this year.

Ssome of us really needed this game as a confidence boost. Especially Morrison and I" noted Tyler Sant. "We have high hopes for this season and making adjustments as we fight through this portion of our schedule will bode well for us in the postseason.

The Eagles will now prepare for what will probably be considered their most important game of the season; a Friday night lights match-up against No. 21 SCAD. The Bees are 0-1 on the year after suffering a 16-4 loss to Division A's No. 9 Florida State. Face-off is scheduled for 7 PM EST this Friday.
