Julie Koopmans attended La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, CA. She received the CIF Sportsmanship award her senior year of High School. She is the daughter of John and Nell Koopmans, and sister to Michael Koopmans (Cal Poly Alum) who currently attends OSU for grad school.
