History of the Booster Club
Founded in 2010, The Clemson Lacrosse Booster Club is an energetic partnership of Parents, Grandparents, Coaches, Student-Athletes, Alumni and Fans of Clemson Lacrosse! We strive to enhance the Clemson Lacrosse program through both Financial and Volunteer Assistance. We also provide media and advocacy support to raise the level of awareness about the lacrosse program both on and off campus. We encourage all lacrosse families to donate to the Booster Club and welcome all participation!

Parent Handbook and FAQ
Parent Code of Conduct
We request that the Men’s LAX team parents understand and endorse the purpose of our program which is to provide the highest quality competitive experience for its members and to represent proudly Clemson University in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association through participation in the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference.
We exhibit this by doing the following:
- Support the coaches by applauding behavior in your son and his teammates that demonstrates integrity, empathy, sacrifice and responsibility.
- Acknowledge and appreciate players’ growth toward maturity and their effort toward establishing stronger relationships with teammates, coaches, parents, and themselves.
- Affirm your son and his teammates when good character, healthy sportsmanship, and “other- centered” behavior are displayed. Do not affirm only his athletic performance or a victory.
- Serve as role models for our players by talking politely and acting courteously towards coaches, officials, other parents, visiting team parents, players, and spectators at practices, games and meetings.
- Model good sportsmanship. Acknowledge and applaud efforts of team members and opponents. Accept defeat graciously by congratulating members of the opposing team on a game well played. Support the team regardless of how much or how little your son plays or what the win/loss record is.
- Encourage your son and his teammates with positive statements, even when they make mistakes. At every practice and game they are (1) growing physically and emotionally, (2) learning moral and ethical lessons, and (3) developing character.
- Refrain from boasting about your son’s accomplishments. Acknowledge the contributions of all team members.
- When problems or questions arise, please have your son present the problem to his position coach. We want players to develop self-advocacy. After meeting with his position coach, if the meeting requires more clarity, have your son contact the head coach.
We hope that all Clemson Men’s LAX parents will commit to this code of conduct because we all have the power and the platform to make a positive difference in the life of every player.

Shown here are the tents protecting fans and food from crazy weather during Family Weekend, February, 2013! Thank you, Conlons!
