First Annual Centenary Lacrosse Camp a Major Sucess - Jul 22, 2009
Shreveport LA - The first annual Centenary Lacrosse Camp was held on the campus of Centenary College this past June. With enrollment well over 50 kids it was a great sucess. Coaches from Misericordia, Medaille, Herkimer and Johns Hopkins were on hand to help develop the youth lacrosse scene in Shreveport Louisiana. The staff was complemented with players from the Centenary program who were essential in the ground work. With the sucess of this years camp, this will be a great place for local lacrosse players to enhance their skills.

Gents Wrap Up Season With Battle at St. Edwards - Mar 17, 2009
Rob Grand who spent most of the season on the field at midfield, led the Gents with 3 goals and 1 assist. Goalie Daniel Ewing made 22 saves in the loss. With the level of improvement, the Gents are already optimistic for next years expanded schedule with the valuable experience gained in the innaugural short season. The team as a whole would like to thank their fans and supporters who are so important to their development and the great experience and priveledge to be a part of the first Gents team to compete in the Men's College Lacrosse Association.
Brand New Era Begins as Gents Notch First Win in the MCLA - Mar 7, 2009
Shreveport - The Centenary College lacrosse team earned its first victory under Head Coach Michael Brand and as a member of the MCLA with a 14-6 victory over Austin College on Saturday. Leading the way once again was Adam Mastrodomenico with a whopping 6 goals and 1 assist. Not to be outdone, Rob Grand also contributed 7 points on 5 goals and 2 assists. Alex Tan scored a hat trick in the victory. The defense showed the most improvement and acted as a backbone for the Gents all afternoon. Unsung defensive midfielders; Matthew Bumgardner Jordan Gurren Adam Nerio Ky Scott and Xun Ao displayed the hard work and progression they have made since day one. The Gents are in action next on Sunday March 15th as they take on the Hilltoppers of St. Edwards University in Austin TX.

The Gents return to Shreveport and Mayo field when they host Austin College on March 7th at 1pm.
Gents Begin Hot But Run Out of Gas Against Kats - Feb 28, 2009
Unfortunately the Gents cooled off and found themselves down 7-5 at the half. The 3rd quarter which has been a thorn in the side of the Gents all season reared its ugly head again and Sam Houston went on a 7-0 run the 3rd. In the 4th with the game out of sight the Gents showed character and regrouped to tie the 4th at 3-3. The Gents held their heads high even in the 17-8 loss. Senior captain Adam Mastrodomenico lead the team with 3 points and Sophomore Goalie Daniel Ewing finished the game with 18 saves. The Gents are back in action tomorrow as they take on the nationally ranked Buccaneers of Southwestern Texas at 12pm.

Austin TX - The Centenary College Gents lacrosse team wrapped up their first season in the MCLA with a hard fought 13-7 loss to St. Edwards on Sunday afternoon. The Gents showed their improvment from the first practice by taking a 2-0 lead late into the first quarter. The Hilltoppers of St. Ed's had a balanced attack and after their short start scored 4 goals a piece in each of the last three quarters. 
Georgetown TX - The 9th ranked team in the nation, Southwestern, clearly showed the Centenary Gentlemen where they are looking to get to, to become a successful program by beating the Gents 22-3. The scoring came early and often for the Bucs but after a first quarter adjustment from man defense to zone the Gents began to show signs of life. Back to back goals in less then 30 seconds from
Huntsville TX - The Centenary College Gents lacrosse team came out firing on all cyllinders Saturday vs the Bearkats of Sam Houston State University. The Gents came out with a balanced attack, getting 4 goals from four different players.
