PLEASE NOTE - In order to be a part of this club program, it is necessary to make a commitment to be at all practices and events that you register for. We do allow players to register for each tournament individually to allow for maximum flexibility.

WHY WE DON'T DO TRYOUTS:

Our answer is simple: our club program is committed to bringing the best lacrosse offerings to EVERY player who wants to learn the game, improve their skils and compete.  We don't believe in calling ourselves "elite" or hosting tryouts, because in order to reach our goal of growing the great sport of lacrosse, we want to include every player and family interested in learning the game we love, we do not want to turn anyone away!  We have been involved with growing the sport, from the youth level up to D1 college receruits for the last 8 years and will continue to do so.  We coach using motivation and positive feedback, leading by example with our all-star staff who cares about the kids as much as they do about winning, and do whatever it takes to make sure they are exceeding their potential.
However, our club teams still field competitive teams, and we enter the best tournaments, with the highest quality competition and the most exposure to college coaches, in order to give our players the opportunity to be seen by the MOST coaches.  We place every player on the team she belongs on, taking into account age, ability and committment levels.  We work hard to make sure that we are able to provide every player with the lacrosse experience she is looking for, and we do it better than anyone else around. 

The CA lacrosse world is still the wild, wild west, and many people see our developing area with dollar signs in their eyes.  No doubt there are many unqualified "coaches" who will tell you or your daughter whatever they want to hear so that you will write them a big fat check.  At Beach Head we live by a very strong code of ethics and loyalty, and do not poach other teams' players, or hand select the players we want.  Players choose our program because of the reputation we have worked so hard to create and keep.  We intentionally keep our prices extremely low in order to keep the game accessible, and you always know that you are getting not only a great experience, but an incredible value when you decide to become a Beach Head Laxer.
