DAVID ADAM POSITION: DEFENSE YEARS IN LACROSSE: 2 OTHER SPORTS PLAYED: Wrestling David is a 1st year Varsity player Through his career at AHS, David won the coveted Captains Award in wrestling David will attend Georgia College in Milledgeville in the fall. David’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse was “beating Milton in overtime on their senior night in double overtime!” His favorite teacher at AHS is “ Coach Nance because he is cool enought for me to like the subject but he is intimidating enough for me to pay attention!” David is the son of Andy and Linda Adam Good Luck David!
KYLE REED
POSITION: MIDFIELD YEARS IN LACROSSE: 7 OTHER SPORTS PLAYED: JV Cross Country Team Kyle is a 3 year Varsity player Through his career at AHS, Kyle has won academic awards such as being on the Honor Roll, Scholar Athlete, AP Scholar with Honors, and the Georgetown Junior Book Award. Kyle played club Lacrosse with Buckhead YMCA Heroes as well as the Copperheads. He was chosen as a Brine All-American and represented AHS on Georgia Lacrosse Day at the State Capitol with Governor Deal. Kyle will attend The University of Georgia in the fall where he hopes to continue his lacrosse career alongside his brother. Go Dawgs! Kyle’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse was “beating Milton in overtime on their senior night in double overtime!” His favorite teacher at AHS is “ Ms. Massey because she really relates to her students and connects with them in the classroom to enhance their leaning experience.” Kyle is the son of Mark and Jenny Reed Good Luck Kyle!
KYLE SEEBOHM
POSITION: GOALIE YEARS IN LACROSSE: 5 OTHER SPORTS PLAYED: Recreational Basketball Kyle is a 2 year Varsity player Through his career at AHS, Kyle has won academic awards such as being a National Merit Finalist, a Scholar Athlete, and an AP Scholar. Kylewill attend Georgia Tech in the fall where he hopes to continue his lacrosse career. Kyle’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse was “beating Milton in overtime on their senior night!” His favorite teacher at AHS is “ Mr. Schertz because he coalesces difficult concepts with hilarious anecdotes to create a stimulating learning environment”. Kyle is the son of Derrick and Catherine Seebohm Good Luck Kyle!
BRANDT GRAUSS
POSITION: DEFENSE YEARS IN LACROSSE: 7 Brandt is a 2 year Varsity player In addition to Lacrosse, Brandt is very involved off the field in the Alpharetta community and participates in the following activities: Founder of Lighthouse Ministries Vice President and Charter Member of Young Mens Service League North Metro Miracle League North Fulton Community Charities Foster Cares Multiple Senior Centers Alpharetta Adopt A Mile North Point Community Church Small Group Through his career at AHS, Brandt was the winner of the coveted 2010 JV “Raider Man” award given out by the coaches. Brandt participated in the 2010 Ga. Lax All Star Classic, the 2011 Atlanta Elite Team as well as participated in the 2011 John Pepper Invitational Syracuse NY Exposition. Brandt will attend either Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville or Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. in the fall and hopes to continue his Lacrosse career. Brandt’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse was beating Milton in double overtime on their 2011 Senior Night and watching Lawson Walker plant the RAIDER flag in the middle of their field! His favorite teacher at AHS is Mr. Sepsey “because he’s the man and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his students and their success in his class. He’s always there if you need any help or have questions, and he’s not afraid to be a little bit goofy in class” Brandt is the son of Brett and Teresa Grauss Good Luck Brandt!
PATRICK BALDWIN
POSITION: FACEOFF MIDFIELD YEARS IN LACROSSE: 6 Patrick is a 2 year Varsity player at Alpharetta. Patrick is an Honor Roll student and was named to the 2nd Team All State Lacrosse Team in 2011. Patrick will attend Courtland State in New York where he will continue his Lacrosse career. Patrick’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse was beating Milton in double overtime on their 2011 Senior Night. His favorite teacher at AHS is Mrs. Heatherington “because she is very relaxed, is kind, patient, and works with the student to understand the problems.” Patrick is the son of Dan (Jr. Raider Senior Select Coach) and Kristen Baldwin Good Luck Patrick! POSITION: DEFENSE YEARS IN LACROSSE: 8 OTHER SPORTS PLAYED: Varsity Football - Letterman Dan is a 2 year Varsity player Dan is very involved in the Alpharetta High School community and participates in the following activities: Founder and President of “The Friday Night Lights Club” Anchor of “Dan the Spiritman” Morning Show Master of Ceremonies of Mr. and Mrs. AHS Pageant Member of “Cookie and Creamz” : Alpharetta’s Best Dance Crew Winners! Through his career at AHS, Dan has won awards such as The President’s Call to Service Award as well as the “Most Spirited” Senior Superlative. Dan is an Honor Roll student and a member of the Talented and Gifted program and has played LB3 Summer Club Lacrosse Dan will attend either Ole Miss or Auburn University in the fall where he hopes to continue his lacrosse career. Dan’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse was once scoring a goal from the mid-line, creating a very UN-happy goalie for the other team! His favorite teacher at AHS is Mrs. Perkins “because she tries her best to make the learning environment fun, open to new ideas, and engaging.” Dan is the son of Jr Select Coach and SELC Chariman Fran Schefer and Spirit Committee Chair Cathy Schefer. POSITION: MIDFIELD YEARS IN LACROSSE: 5 Jarr is a 2 year Varsity player Jarr will attend The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in the fall where he hopes to continue his lacrosse career. Jarr plans to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jarr’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse is scoring the game winning goal against Harrison his sophomore year! His favorite teacher at AHS is Kurt Davies -World History. “Mr Davies makes class interesting and fun.” Jarr is the son of Louis Strydom (AHS Lax Webmaster) and Nicolette Strydom. Good Luck Jarr! POSITION: ATTACK YEARS IN LACROSSE: 9 OTHER SPORTS PLAYED: Cross Country - 2 year Letterman Collin is a 3 year Varsity player as well as one of the original Junior Raiders that had it’s start at Newtown Park. Collin will attend The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in the fall where he hopes to continue his lacrosse career. Collin’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse is the beat down of Milton on their Senior Night last year! Good stuff!!! His favorite teacher at AHS is Kurt Davies - AP Human Geography. “Mr Davies brings enthusiasm to the classroom and makes the class very enjoyable. Mr. Davies is always accessible and ready to help.” Collin is the son of Coach Jeff Smith (Junior Varsity Head Coach) and Tammy Smith. Good Luck Collin! CHRIS KATZ
POSITION: ATTACK YEARS IN LACROSSE: 5 OTHER SPORTS PLAYED: AHS Ice Hockey, AHS Roller Hockey, Atlanta Fire Travel Ice Hockey CHIRS is a 2 year Varsity player who participates in the Young Men’s Service League as well as FBLA off the field of Lacrosse. Chris is an Honor Roll student who attended the Aviation Career Academy last year on scholarship. Chris will attend either Perdue University or Auburn University in the fall where he hopes to continue his lacrosse career. Chris hopes to make flying a career! Chris’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse is the 2011 Spring Break trip to Charlotte where the team had BIG success on the field and a ton of fun off the field. His favorite teacher at AHS is Mr. Schertz because “he was able to relate AP Chemistry to real world situations”. Chris is the son of Rick Katz and Diane Katz. Good Luck Chris! TYLER VINING
POSITION: ATTACK YEARS IN LACROSSE: 7 OTHER SPORTS PLAYED: RECREATIONAL BASKETBALL Tyler is a 3 year varsity player as well as one of the original Jr. Raider players that had it’s start at Newtown Park. Tyler also played Buckhead YMCA Heroes for a summer, playing tournaments in Maryland and Vail Colorado. Tyler is headed to Georgia Southern University in Statesboro in the Fall where he hopes to continue his lacrosse career. Tyler’s fondest memory of AHS Lacrosse is beating Milton in double overtime in 2011 on their Senior NIght! His favorite teacher at AHS is Mrs. George “because she is hilarious”. Tyler is the son of David Vining (the voice of the Raiders) and Janice Vining (past president of the AHS Men’s Lacrosse Booster Club) Good Luck Tyler!
