A message David Beman - Attention all Alpharetta Lacrosse Players:

I have just been given an assistant coaching job for the Heroes Select Travel Team, and want the athletes from my high school to get the opportunity to come tryout for the best select travel team in the state.  The tryouts for the Heroes 2009 Select Travel Team are this Saturday, January 10^th.  If you are currently in 9-11^th grade (as of December 2008) come tryout. There is a developmental and elite team so don’t be afraid to come tryout. The head coach is John Pritzlaff, a two time Division III All-American, and other assistants include Davis Lukens, a two time high school all American in GA who plays for Denison College.  We are going on very prestigious tournaments this summer including, the Warrior Vail tournament in Vail, Colorado, and the Bison Brawl at Bucknell University, and possibly Champ Camp as well. Unlike some other travel teams in the state we practice during the summer.  So you aren’t just playing in tournaments, you get to play with some of the best players in the state all summer long.  Even if you are not sure if you want to play or if you tried out for other teams and want to play for them come tryout and see what we are all about on this team.
