Game Summary - JV vs. GACS

The Raider JV's played an impressive opening game and posted their

first region win of the season with an 11-0 blanking of the newly established,

yet pesky JV lacrosse program from GACS.  

This extends goalie Chris Lyon's and the JV defense's streak to 8 scoreless

quarters as the JV defense have held opponents to no goals dating back to last

years season's 6-0 final vs. Blessed Trinity.

The Raider defense was led by Jin Suh winning 4 of 5 face-offs while playing solidly 

on D.   Jesse Thompson with 3 GBs and Spencer Morrison with a goal in the 4th 

quarter rounded out the stingy D.  

Nick Sublett paced the offense with 5 helpers, while Andrew Coll and Conner Reed 

each scored 3 goals each.  Joe Majester (2-1-4) and Nathan Goodwin led the team 

with 4 GB's. 

Overall the team played very in the transition game forcing many failed  clears by 

GACS.  Overall everyone played well but will have to step up their game against our 

tougher opponents. The JVs return to action Friday evening and will have to be at their 

very best against a very strong an talented  group from cross-town rival, the Eagles f

rom Milton.
