2007 Season in Review

The Blessed Trinity Junior Titans played hard in the GYLA tournament at Roswell Area Park but came up short against Roswell, Lassiter and South Forsyth. Scoring goals for the Junior Titans in the 3-day tournament were Caitlin Ivie, Julia Agresta, Lauren Fadem and Suzie Scordino.

For the season, the Junior Titans had a record of 8-13-1 in the U15 GMS League. Not a bad record considering that most of our losses were to teams that we were comprised primaily of 8th graders. The Junior Titans had 12 girls that were eligible to play U13 lacrosse so we were a young team. Next year, we will (hopefully!) return 15 girls.

For the season, the Junior Titans were led in the goal by Bianca Glade who had a 59% save percentage. Olivia Taylor had a save percentage of nearly 45% which is excellent for a first year goalie. Bianca will play for Blessed Trinity next year while Olivia will return to the Junior Titans.

On defense, the Junior Titans were led in ground balls by Suzanne Crisanti (84), Maria Malaver (27), and Alex Handler (16). Suzanne scored 6 goals and Alex scored one goal to help the offense. All three girls will return to the Junior Titans next year.

The Junior Titans were strong at midfield, with goals by Caitlin (26), Suzie (23), Madison (21) and Lauren (10). Leading the midfield on ground balls were Madison (92), Caitlin (39), Anne Marie (34), Lauren (34), Suzie (30), Allie (28), and Mary Catherine (21). Madison, Allie and Mary Catherine will return to the Junior Titans next year.�

At attack, the Junior Titans were led in scoring by Julia Agresta (10) and Rachel Flatt (7). Julia made her last three 8-meter shots which is excellent. Rachel has a knack for scoring goals and she led all 6th graders in this category, edging Sydney Maisano (4) and Megan Fadem (3).

We wish our graduates well at Blessed Trinity: Anne Marie Fernandes, Bianca Glade, Caitlin Ivie, Elizabeth Flatt, Giselle Brizuela, Hope Megan, Julia Agresta, Lauren Fadem, and Suzie Scordino.

And, we look forward to seeing our young Junior Titans next year including: Alex Handler, Allie Moyer, Collen O'Biren, Kathleen Stevens, Katie Murphy, Maddie Olson, Madison Nichols, Maria-Jose Malaver, Mary Catherine Adams, Megan Fadem, Olivia Taylor, Rachel Firstman, Rachel Flatt, Suzanne Crisanti and Sydney Maisano.�
