Lacrosse Experience: Coach Scheifflee developed an interest in lacrosse growing up in Buffalo, NY.  After watching the Bills loose the Super-bowl, consecutively, the newly formed Buffalo Bandits provided a fast paced game which greatly interested him.  After moving to Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Coach Scheifflee began his playing career as a freshmen mid-fielder on Cumberland Valley’s varsity team.  As a senior, he served as team captain.

Moving onto college, Coach Scheifflee played forIndianaUniversity’s, Crimson Hawks where he was a founding member of the program.  A member of the National Collegiate Lacrosse League, the Hawks moved onto earning multiple regional championships.  While at IUP, he served as team captain, social advisor, and vice president for the schools first men’s lacrosse program.  Coach Scheifflee has been head coach at Alpharetta since its inaugural season in 2005 and was named GHSA men’s coach of the year in 2008.      

Other Facts:  Coach Scheifflee lives in Milton with his wife Amy, and their two year old son, Brayden.  He is an art teacher at AHS and also serves as Fine Art Department Chairperson forAlpharettaHigh School.
