Coach Swanson is presently a TAG Science and Pre-Algebra teacher at Webb Bridge Middle School. He received a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Coach Swanson later received a master's degree in systems engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Georgia State University. He also served a full career with Lucent Technologies as an engineer and then sales manager. Coach Swanson starred as a defenseman at Abington High School near Philadelphia and at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives with his wife and three daughters in Cumming, GA.
