EFLL Fall Season - Sep 14, 2013
The teams were set as follows:
1. Red Team: All returning 2013 Varsity players + current Sr's.
2. White Team: All Sophomores and Juniors
3. Blue Team: All Freshman
Please keep in mind the following:
1. Roster sizes are small to maximize playing time in the very short game structure of the EFLL
2. With small rosters, attendance is critical. If we are short players, we may need some players to play in two games. This will be handled by the coaches only as needed.
3. Playing time priority always goes to the players of the team scheduled.
4. Most other EFLL teams are using this same model to try and achieve competitive fairness.
IMPORTANT: The EFLL rosters have nothing to do with the spring season. Being on the White or Blue team does not mean players will not be evaluated for the Varsity team in the spring. Likewise, being on the Red team in no way guarantees players a spot on the Varsity team in the spring. Come spring 2014 tryouts, the slate is clean, and every player will have the opportunity to tryout and be evaluated to make either the JV or Varsity team.
Remember, the primary goal of the EFLL is to keep the players active and playing Lacrosse. The focus is on player development, equal playing time, and having fun.
