 UofL Tournament CHAMPS!!

"There's no doubt in my mind that this team will be anything but exponetially succesful and I am looking forward to the road we have ahead of us. We have players with various talents and numerious lacrosse heavy backrounds. In additon, we also have a dedicated head Coach that played for Ohio State University, Alicia Meredith. She's tough at practice and knows how to efficently run a successful team. All together my team members, our coach, and our supports are all working hard to be game day ready for when we take our first step onto the lacrosse field as the first ever Ole Miss Women's Club Lacrosse team...  "Our next step after this season is to try and start a foundation for lacrosse in the community. Starting with the highschools and middle schools, holding lacrosse clinics here at Ole Miss for the youth, and also working with various other areas and organizations around Mississippi. I know Mississippi State is trying  to get their team up and running, along with the Memphis team. Hopefully in a few years all of the foundation laying will be in the past and women's lacrosse will be just as common of a sport down here as it is on the East Coast. Lacrosse has taught me how to be a team player and to have a hard work ethic. 'Work Hard, Play Hard.' After learning this lesson on the field I applied the concept to my daily life. I dream big and set high goals. Before last year there was only talk about an Ole Miss Women's Lacrosse team. Now Lauren and I are watching what were once just our ideas turn into actions and our goals into accomplishments. Thank you to everyone that has helped us to finally bring all of this hard work together and also to those that will be helping in the future." -President, Amanda Lacklen
