Head Varsity Coach
We are proud to announce that Coach Sara Fraschetti, our former Varsity Assistant Coach, is continuing in the LCC family as our 2010 Varsity Head Coach! Coach Sara Fraschetti, an LCC '01 alumni, has been coaching the Mavericks since 2007. She has been an integral part of our past success and we are looking forward to the 2010 season with Sara at the helm. Coach Sara, aka Coach Fresh, is an active member in the San Diego lacrosse community; she currently plays on the San Diego Lacrosse Club traveling to tournaments all over the nation and is a coach for the SD Rip Club program as well as the So-Cal National team. Sara has made an impact in San Diego lacrosse and continues to do so by coaching Youth Lacrosse and creating opportunities for her players and others around San Diego to be recruited to play in college. Welcome back, Coach Fresh!
Assistant Varsity Coach Coach Kimberly Pytel was hired in January 2010 as the new LCC Mavericks Girls Lacrosse Varsity Assistant Coach. Coach Kimberly was previously the Westview High School JV Girls Lacrosse Head Coach since 2007, and she is currently the SD Rip Club Director. Kimberly played WDIA D-1 Lacrosse at University of Maryland where her love and passion for the sport continued from High School. She is an active member of the San Diego Lacrosse Club, the local post-collegiate team. She participates in lacrosse tournaments nationally and is coaching for USA Starz in Australia Summer 2010. Kimberly is very active in the San Diego and National lacrosse community participating in tournaments nationwide. Coach Kimberly is proud to be a MAVERICK! She is looking forward to her inaugural 2010 season with LCC!
