Dave Flick Visits Baylor LacrosseOct. 20, 2009 Coach Dave Flick is a renowned lacrosse instructor, especially in the Texas area. Coach Dave Flick’s credentials include: University of Maryland All-Conference Middie, Maryland Lacrosse Club Two-time National Champion, selectee to USA Lacrosse Team (alternate), and recently coached the Plano West JV and varsity programs. Josh Brown, a former member of the Plano West DII State Championship team, was able to secure a visit from his former coach. Coach Flick’s visit came at a great juncture in Baylor’s development as a program. Coach Flick came in to aid the Baylor offense--who's talent this year has exceeded that of even the 2007-2008 season which saw the Bears make their first post season appearance. Coach Flick’s offensive instruction has given the Baylor Bears’ offense even more tools to develop from talented to lethal. Coach Flick came in with a great attitude and caught the players’ attentions right away. After a chalk talk with the players, he had them walk thru the play and finally run the play. Throwing the defense into the mix the offensive could run at full speed as Coach Flick made corrections and adjustments. Finally, he held a Q&A session before he had to head back to Dallas.
