sluggish against the Texas State Bobcats. The first half proved to be a

plays and possessing the ball. The
Bobcats took
advantage of many man-up situations which ultimately led to Baylor
trailing 8-2 at half. During halftime Baylor reflected on the first
half and made many improvements. The most visible improvement they made
was on the defense, which shut out the Bobcats in the third quarter.
Also, Matthew McPheeters really stepped up in the second half and showed
the crowd what an amazing goalie he is by making many outstanding
saves. Leading into the forth quarter the Bears offense rallied and
brought the score within 3 goals, by scoring a quick 2 goals. However,
the Bobcats responded with another 3 goals and ultimately sealed the
victory. The Bears lost to Texas State 11-7.
