Baylor vs. TCU

Bookmark and Share Printer Friendly Mar. 30, 2008

The Baylor Lacrosse team emerged victorious Friday night from a double overtime battle with Texas Christian University.  Despite being heavily outnumbered Baylor was able to come out on top in what would be a game vital to their playoff run. Baylor got off to a great start with a solid goal from Daniel Goldstein and effective defense by the Baylor team. Baylor maintained a small lead until the third quarter when numbers and penalties took their toll on the Bears. Worn out and reeling from a quick streak of goals the Bears rallied from being four goals down to come back and tie the game up by the end of regulation. In the middle of the second harrowing sudden death overtime freshman Luke Whyte scored the finishing goal with his seventh goal of the night clinching a hard won victory. Baylor will face Oklahoma State Sunday in what will be another conference game.
