Tough Loss To End The Season

Bookmark and Share Printer Friendly May. 3, 2007

Baylor took on North Texas up in Denton with a lot at stake.  Biggest of all being the final playoff spot from the LSA-North.  Unfortunately, Baylor came out on the short end of an epic battle, losing 19-17.  Andrew Brochu led the team with 6 goals and Kyle Kulda led with 4 assists.  Even though they just missed the playoffs, a lot can be taken from this season.  Many changes have been made... many changes for the better.  I think this team has begun to show that it can no longer be taken lightly.  They have a new found dedication and are hungrier than ever to make their mark.  The returners, along with the rookies, will be working throughout the Summer and Fall to continue where we left off.  We want to thank our seniors for a great season: Neil Warf, Ben Olson and Matt Witt.  Your contributions to this program, on and off the field, are greatly appreciated.  We would also like to thank all of our fans (parents, faculty, students and friends) for their continued support, as well as Major Campbell (our faculty advisor) for his continued dedication- and a great team dinner!

The Bears will be chomping at the bit this whole offseason to get out there and beat this years 7-4 record (and also to make a push for the LSA-A Championship).  Stick'em Bears!!!!!!
