Matt's hobbies include making and watching movies, skateboarding, surfing, rock climbing, beach volleyball, drawing, free style BMX, and anything exciting and fun. He played defence for St. Anthony's during his junior (team finished as champs in Central District II and state runner-ups and senior (Team won Central District II and reached the state semis) years as well as a summer league in 2005 and his freshman year at Baylor University. He also played some goal in the 2006 summer league. Matt was also the recipient of the Gram Gill Leadership award for the team in his senior year.
